Onyango Obama, 67, has completed the month-and-a-half suspension a judge slapped on him in late March, when he admitted that Framingham cops had enough evidence to convict him for an OUI bust in August.

The news renewed outrage over the RMV’s treatment of the case — especially among Republican lawmakers who demanded answers last month, when Obama scored a special license that allowed him to drive to his job as a liquor store manager.

My personal pick for VP- Rick Santorum. Romney ought to pick his closest competitor from the primaries to ensure a well-rounded Republican voting base. You win elections by motivating the base, not by ditching the base and going after independents and undecideds. People who think Romney is too moderate would be more likely to vote for a Romney/Santorum ticket. My opinion.

For those who missed Part 1, a book that highlights Lincoln’s brilliant action is titled “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln,” by Doris Kearns Goodwin, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and presidential historian. Lincoln’s idea and action was simply this: Once elected, Lincoln brought together his former GOP competitors (each representing a political faction in the country) and created a united force that ultimately healed the divisions in the land and propelled America forward.

Why couldn’t that happen again, especially in a country as divided as ours? And why couldn’t the GOP nominee propose such a plan to boost his election probability?

The past GOP presidential competitors were and are a unique blend of gifted and talented people. How often did you think and hear others say during the GOP debates, “There are strong elements I like in all of them”? You may not have wanted to see all of them at the desk of the Oval Office, but wouldn’t you want to see most help the next president in some capacity?

Who doesn’t appreciate the resolve and moral resiliency of former Sen. Rick Santorum and Rep. Michele Bachmann? Who wouldn’t want to see our country benefit from the business background and leadership of Herman Cain? Who doesn’t like the emboldened constitutional spirit and frugal fiscal passions of Rep. Ron Paul? Who wouldn’t value Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s advocacy for jobs and against frivolous lawsuits via tort reform? Who wouldn’t want to see the foreign affairs experience of former U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman better America’s global relations? And who wouldn’t want to utilize the brilliance, bold ideas and experience of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich?

And what do you think would be the reaction of President Barack Obama and the entire Democratic Party, as well as their mainstream media minions, if the collective group above stood with Mitt Romney and said: “Vote for Mitt and you’ll get all of us in his next administration. All for one, and one for all.”

Bush also held fewer press conferences than he should have. But this doesn’t excuse Obama, who would seem especially obligated to appear before the press given his pledges to maintain an “openness” administration.

Instead, the White House does its best to control access to Obama, presenting him to local and sometimes national reporters in “one-on-one” settings.

While these sessions occasionally do make news, they are poor substitute for formal press conferences. The local reporters are often not as well versed in the subtleties of national and international news as White House reporters and are more likely to be intimidated when suddenly finding themselves sitting in the White House interviewing the president.

The ‘Holy’ Qu’ran has no power. Muslims believe the Koran should be respected and obeyed because you will be cursed with sickness or death by God himself otherwise. In Afghanistan, as in Iran where Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani awaits possible execution, Christians are regularly jailed, tortured and killed, simply for their faith. Islam produces spiritual and political violence and oppression.

Our event, located on the familiar field to the west of Dove World Outreach Center was openly supported by 30 people. Several had driven from towns in Georgia and Florida to join our church. Across 37th Street, in the quiet Mile Run neighborhood many people, police and reporters stood or sat in cars and watched from a distance. There may have been 100 witnesses to the burn in all.

Harris, who is up for re-election in November, released a statement Tuesday on Mikulski’s letter.

“I support maintaining next day delivery standards in rural areas that would keep the Easton mail processing center open,” he said. “But the overall bill passed by the Senate continues the fiscal irresponsibility of a Senate that has failed to pass a budget for over three years. The Senate bill is a $33 billion bailout that fails to address the annual hemorrhaging of billions of dollars in Postal Service deficits that will have to be eventually paid back by current and future hardworking taxpayers.”

Postmaster General Patrick R. Donahoe also released a statement on the Senate bill passage. The Postal Service incurs a daily loss of $25 million and has a debt of more than $13 billion, Donahoe said. Those losses would continue, he said, based on the initial analysis of the Senate bill.

“If this bill were to become law, the Postal Service would be back before Congress within a few years requesting additional legislative reform.”

The Board of Governors of the Postal Service also released a statement that said the Senate’s action fell short of the service’s plan.

“We are disappointed that the Senate’s bill would not enable the Postal Service to return to financial viability,” the statement read. “Given volume losses we have experienced over the past five years along with expected future trends, it is totally inappropriate in these economic times to keep unneeded facilities open.”

Desperately scrambling to validate Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s Native American heritage amid questions about whether she used her minority status to further her career, the Harvard Law professor’s campaign last night finally came up with what they claim is a Cherokee connection — her great-great-great-grandmother.

“She would be 1⁄32nd of Elizabeth Warren’s total ancestry,” noted genealogist Christopher Child said, referring to the candidate’s great-great-great-grandmother, O.C. Sarah Smith, who is listed on an Oklahoma marriage certificate as Cherokee. Smith is an ancestor on Warren’s mother’s side, Child said.

The missing link comes after Warren’s embattled campaign faced sharp questions about her Native American background in the wake of Herald stories that showed both Harvard Law School and Warren herself had touted her tribal lineage and claimed she was a member of a minority for years.

Senior military figures have said that Admiral William McRaven, a former SEAL who was then head of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) made the decision to take bin Laden out. Tactical decisions were delegated even further down the chain of command.

Mr Kyle added: ‘He’s trying to say that Romney wouldn’t have made the same call? Anyone who is patriotic to this country would have made that exact call, Democrat or Republican. Obama is taking more credit than he is due but it’s going to get him some pretty good mileage.’

A former intelligence official who was serving in the US government when bin Laden was killed said that the Obama administration knew about the al-Qaeda leader’s whereabouts in October 2010 but delayed taking action and risked letting him escape.

‘In the end, Obama was forced to make a decision and do it. He knew that if he didn’t do it the political risks in not taking action were huge. Mitt Romney would have made the call but he would have made it earlier – as would George W. Bush.’

Brandon Webb, a former SEAL who spent 13 years on active duty and served in Iraq and Afghanistan, said: ‘Bush should get partial credit for putting the system in place.

‘Obama inherited a very robust package with regards to special ops and the intelligence community. But Obama deserves credit because he got bin Laden – you can’t take that away from him.

‘My friends that work in Special Operations Command (SOCOM) that have been on video teleconferences with Obama on these kill or capture situations say that Obama has no issue whatsoever with making decisions and typically it’s kill. He’s hitting the kill button every time. I have a lot of respect for him for that.’

But he said that many SEALs were dismayed about the amount of publicity the Obama administration had generated about SEAL Team Six, the very existence of which is highly classified.

‘The majority of the SEALs I know are really proud of the operation but it does become “OK, enough is enough – we’re ready to get back to work and step out of the limelight.” They don’t want to be continuously paraded around a global audience like a show dog.

Released today, the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate.

The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California.

The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.

To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.
