Obama Campus Fervor Losing to Apathy as Students Sour on 2012
No wonder…they can’t find jobs, and they can’t afford to put gas in their cars.

Apathy my a**. Students and young people aren’t apathetic, they have shifted their enthusiasm to Ron Paul. Remember what happened in the MO caucuses? How many Democratic Primary sites in 2008 had to be shut down because rowdy young Obama supporters refused to let the entrenched party barons shirk the written rules and run the show? This shift shouldn’t surprise anyone – Obama promised transparency, to curb imperialism and the domestic police state, and to rein in out-of-control corporate cartels like Wall St and Health Care. Upon being elected, he proceded to bomb Libya, expand Federal authority to censor and detain, and hand out corporate welfare like it was candy on Halloween (stimulus for companies that provide “essential” services or have strong unions is STILL CORPORATE WELFARE). Young people in this day and age are not easily lied to and have no emotional attachment to any party label or politician – we vote for policy and MAYBE ideology, and Ron Paul has a 30 year consistent track record of actually trying to do everything Obama promised us in 2008. There is no way Obama is getting this generation back in his corner; and if Ron Paul ends up a 3rd choice on the ballot (3rd Party, convention split, independent, etc.), he will put many of the safe States for both parties in play – issuing a long overdue political and financial beating to both corporate-owned party establishments.
Students seem to be all about ‘what’s in it fir them’ rather than decisions based on principles. Week minded! Guess who the teachers and politicians will be in 20 years?
