I’ve been a long time listener since 1989. I’ve always had a reverence for Country music’s core values- respect for God, family tradition, and survival during hard times.
What I can’t stand are two faced “crossover” stars who pretend to champion Country music values while actively supporting politicians and agendas which are totally opposite to what Country stands for.
Which brings me to Kelly Clarkson. She made a big deal about attending Obama’s inauguration and immediately revealed herself to be one of those two faced posers. Please do not play her music anymore or I may have to change the radio dial.

Panetta opens combat roles to women
Senior defense officials say Pentagon chief Leon Panetta is removing the military’s ban on women serving in combat, opening hundreds of thousands of front-line positions and potentially elite commando jobs after more than a decade at war.
The groundbreaking move recommended by the Joint Chiefs of Staff overturns a 1994 rule banning women from being assigned to smaller ground combat units. Panetta’s decision gives the military services until January 2016 to seek special exceptions if they believe any positions must remain closed to women.

On August 1, 2009–just seven months into President Barack Obama’s first term–former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin predicted Obama would attempt to leverage health care to “take away” the Second Amendment rights of Americans.In a speech to National Rifle Association members in Anchorage, Alaska, Palin said Americans should be “wary” of this “tie-in” because Obama would attempt to “take away our rights under the guise of some new health care plan”:
On Wednesday–more than three years after Palin’s warning–Obama did exactly what the former governor forecasted. To make it easier for doctors to do so, Obama also issued executive actions that would “clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.” The White House also released “a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.” In Obama’s gun control plan, which the White House released on Wednesday, there is a section titled “Preserve The Rights of Mental Health Care Providers To Protect Their Patients and Communities From Gun Violence.”
As Breitbart News reported, the American Medical Association (AMA) had sent the Obama administration a letter urging the White House to pass more strict gun control measures. The letter, which was signed by the AMA and 52 other organizations, used the Sandy Hook massacre to note that a ban on so-called assault weapons was “a step in the right direction,” called for a “ban on high capacity magazines,” and “requested increased funding” for medical programs from the White House:
This battle over whether doctors should be able to ask patients about firearms is playing out in Florida. Physicians in Florida took the state to court over a 2011 law that “prohibits them from asking patients if they own a gun. Florida lawmakers and the NRA viewed such questions as a threat to the Second Amendment right to bear arms.” Obama is siding with the physician Florida has appealed the ruling, and the case is pending before an appellate court in Atlanta, Georgia. The NRA, which filed a friend-of-the-court brief, said the Florida law “exhorts doctors to stick to practicing medicine… rather than pushing their own political agendas, and it protects patients from doctors who refuse to do so.” More than three years ago in her speech (blogger “KentonAK” first revealed the existence of the footage), Palin noted–to the Alaska NRA members–she was the only person on either ticket during the 2008 election who was a lifetime member of the NRA. Medscape News noted the NRA voiced support for the Florida law in a friend-of-the-court brief and accused medical societies like the American Academy of Pediatrics of “harboring a nonmedical agenda of removing guns from the home.” The NRA said the the Florida law “exhorts doctors to stick to practicing medicine…rather than pushing their own political agendas, and it protects patients from doctors who refuse to do so.” |
(Reuters) – A federal appeals court on Friday upheld a controversial Wisconsin law that restricts the power of public-sector unions, the passage of which sparked an unsuccessful effort to recall the state’s Republican Governor, Scott Walker.
By a 2-1 vote, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago found that the 2011 law is constitutional, rejecting claims that it violated the equal protection and First Amendment rights of union members.
It reversed part of a March 2012 ruling by U.S. District Judge William Conley in Madison, Wisconsin.
Seven of Wisconsin’s largest public-sector unions, including the Wisconsin Education Association Council, had sued to overturn the law, known as Act 10.
“Wisconsin educators are extremely disappointed with the appeals court ruling,” the group’s president Mary Bell said in a statement. She called the law “a ploy to eliminate workers’ rights to have a voice through their union – political payback for citizens who didn’t endorse the governor.”
WEAC is reviewing the decision to determine its next steps, Bell said.
The law had been enacted by Wisconsin’s Republican-led legislature as part of an effort to close a multibillion-dollar state budget deficit.
It barred public sector workers, known as “general employees,” from collective bargaining on issues other than base wages, imposed tough recertification requirements and barred employers from automatically deducting union dues from paychecks.
A select group of “public safety employees” and their unions were not subject to these new requirements.
Writing for the 7th Circuit majority, Circuit Judge Joel Flaum said Conley correctly upheld the statute’s limits on collective bargaining.
But the 7th Circuit also reversed Conley’s decision to void provisions that provided for annual union recertification votes and which banned the automatic dues deductions.
GOVERNOR CALLS DECISION A TAXPAYER VICTORY
Flaum said Wisconsin had a rational basis to adopt Act 10, even if it may have favored particular political groups.
“As unfortunate as it may be, political favoritism is a frequent aspect of legislative action,” he wrote.
Circuit Judge David Hamilton dissented from the part of the decision on dues deductions.
In a statement, Walker called the decision a victory for state taxpayers, saying said Act 10 was needed to help Wisconsin close a $3.6 billion deficit without tax increases, mass layoffs of public sector employees and cuts to programs such as Medicaid.
The Wisconsin governor survived a recall election last June, after the law’s passage had sparked nationwide protests and efforts to remove him from office.
The law also forced most state workers to pay more for health insurance and pensions, and curbed pay raises.
Last September, in a Wisconsin state court proceeding, Dane County Circuit Court Judge Juan Colas declared the law unconstitutional because it violated the free speech and equal protection rights of union members. Wisconsin has been appealing that decision.
Flaum was appointed to the bench by President Ronald Reagan. Joining his opinion was Circuit Judge William Bauer, an appointee of President Gerald Ford. Hamilton was appointed to the 7th Circuit by President Barack Obama.
The case is Wisconsin Education Association Council et al v. Walker et al, 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Nos. 12-1854, 12-2011 and 12-2058.

She turned 49 on Thursday. While Washington, D.C. is prepping for President Barack Obama’s second inauguration, it appears the first lady is prepping herself- with a new haircut. The bangs frame her face, and many admirers approve of the new look. Her hair stylist, Johnny Wright, said the haircut was not really calculated. “It was something that, you know, I just felt that it would be nice and fresh and it would make her look even more youthful than she already is.” The first lady celebrated her birthday at a Georgetown restaurant, Cafe Milano, on Thursday night, with the president.

When I attended primary and secondary school — during the 1940s and ’50s — one didn’t hear of the kind of shooting mayhem that’s become routine today. Why? It surely wasn’t because of strict firearm laws. My replica of the 1902 Sears mail-order catalog shows 35 pages of firearm advertisements. People just sent in their money, and a firearm was shipped.
Dr. John Lott, author of “More Guns, Less Crime,” reports that until the 1960s, some New York City public high schools had shooting clubs where students competed in citywide shooting contests for university scholarships. They carried their rifles to school on the subways and, upon arrival, turned them over to their homeroom teacher or the gym coach and retrieved their rifles after school for target practice. Virginia’s rural areas had a long tradition of high-school students going hunting in the morning before school and sometimes storing their rifles in the trunks of their cars that were parked on school grounds. Often a youngster’s 12th or 14th birthday present was a shiny new .22-caliber rifle, given to him by his father.
Today’s level of civility can’t match yesteryear’s. Many of today’s youngsters begin the school day passing through metal detectors. Guards patrol school hallways, and police cars patrol outside. Despite these measures, assaults, knifings and shootings occur. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2010 there were 828,000 nonfatal criminal incidents in schools. There were 470,000 thefts and 359,000 violent attacks, of which 91,400 were serious. In the same year, 145,100 public-school teachers were physically attacked, and 276,700 were threatened.
What explains today’s behavior versus yesteryear’s? For well over a half-century, the nation’s liberals and progressives — along with the education establishment, pseudo-intellectuals and the courts — have waged war on traditions, customs and moral values. These people taught their vision, that there are no moral absolutes, to our young people. To them, what’s moral or immoral is a matter of convenience, personal opinion or a consensus.
During the ’50s and ’60s, the education establishment launched its agenda to undermine lessons children learned from their parents and the church with fads such as “values clarification.” So-called sex education classes are simply indoctrination that sought to undermine family and church strictures against premarital sex. Lessons of abstinence were ridiculed and considered passé and replaced with lessons about condoms, birth control pills and abortions. Further undermining of parental authority came with legal and extralegal measures to assist teenage abortions with neither parental knowledge nor consent.
Customs, traditions, moral values and rules of etiquette, not laws and government regulations, are what make for a civilized society. These behavioral norms — transmitted by example, word of mouth and religious teachings — represent a body of wisdom distilled through ages of experience, trial and error, and looking at what works. The importance of customs, traditions and moral values as a means of regulating behavior is that people behave themselves even if nobody’s watching. Police and laws can never replace these restraints on personal conduct so as to produce a civilized society. At best, the police and criminal justice system are the last desperate line of defense for a civilized society. The more uncivilized we become the more laws that are needed to regulate behavior.
Many customs, traditions and moral values have been discarded without an appreciation for the role they played in creating a civilized society, and now we’re paying the price. What’s worse is that instead of a return to what worked, people want to replace what worked with what sounds good, such as zero-tolerance policies in which bringing a water pistol, drawing a picture of a pistol, or pointing a finger and shouting “bang-bang” produces a school suspension or arrest. Seeing as we’ve decided that we should rely on gun laws to control behavior, what should be done to regulate clubs and hammers? After all, FBI crime statistics show that more people are murdered by clubs and hammers than rifles and shotguns.

But now, in a fit of extremely satisfying karma, Reuters has joined the membership of high -profile, left-wing news outlets announcing a series of layoffs. One source told Talking Biz News, as much as 25% of the Reuters’ staff [added: in one division]could be on the chopping block lost their jobs:
“Yes, I can confirm there have been layoffs across Thomson Reuters today, including editorial,” said Barb Burg, vice president and global head of communications at Reuters. “Similar to efforts across the company, the Reuters organization is focusing attention on our global cost structure as well as the need to simplify and ensure we have the skills and expertise within our organization so we can continue to contribute maximum value to the business and our customers.”
Talking Biz News is told that the job cuts are occurring across the company in places such as training and sales but some are occurring in editorial in New York as well.
A Guild representative sent an email to members Tuesday afternoon saying that Reuters has proposed eliminating nine editorial jobs — four in Happauge, three television jobs at its Times Square operation, a television job in Washington and a text job in Atlanta. Other editorial job cuts would come from non-guild positions. …
A Reuters employee from the Wealth Management division told Talking Biz News that 25 percent of the workers there lost their jobs.

The New York newspaper that publicized the names and addresses of thousands of the Empire State’s legal gun owners has hired a big-time, expensive public relations firm from Manhattan as its public face.Eric Wemple of the Washington Post recently found the curious situation when he contacted the Journal News to get some information but was told that he would now get his ubiquitous “no comment” from one Edmund Tagliaferri. Wemple goes on to explain that Tagliaferri is an executive vice president at DKC, a Manhattan public relations, marketing, and government affairs firm. Wemple wonders why a newspaper headed by Gannett, one of the biggest newspaper chains in the country, needs a high-falutin’, New York City-based PR firm to answer questions about its journalism. It is a good question, indeed. Hiring a big-time PR firm sure makes the Journal News look like it can’t take the heat it has brought upon itself. The paper may have quite a lot to spin itself out of, too. At least one house burglary has been tied to the paper’s gun map stunt. After the Journal News published the address of a home that had guns inside, the home appears to have been targeted by thieves looking to steal guns. |

Obama has also handed outpreferential waivers to corporations friendly to his administration. – He has declared war on America’s coal industry by that attempts to build a new coal plant while using unconstitutional EPA regulations to strangle competition, ensuring Americans see their energy costs rise year after year. – He has violated the Constitution’s Takings and Due Process Clauses when he bullied the secured creditors of automaker Chrysler into accepting 30 cents on the dollar while politically connected labor unions and preferential others received better deals. – He has violated Article II of the Constitution by using signing statements as part of his executive usurpation of power.

A small business owner in Vernal, Utah, is raising eyebrows with a controversial policy surrounding how much he charges liberals and conservatives for smoothies. George Burnett, owner of “I Love Drilling Juice & Smoothie Bar,” has implemented a price structure in which liberals pay more for their drinks than their conservative counterparts.
Burnett, an advocate who is known locally for his support of the energy market (just look at the name of his smoothie bar), has made no bones about his plans to charge liberals $1 more for their fruit-filled drinks.
“I’m very open about it, very public about it, that I’m going to charge them a little bit more, and I have liberals come in and pay the extra dollar surcharge,” he told KSL-TV.

On Sunday, Reuters reported Fiat and Chrysler, which Fiat owns, are on the verge of signing an agreement to produce Jeeps in China, and they may make the announcement as early as Monday at the Detroit Auto Show:
Italian carmaker Fiat and its U.S. unit Chrysler are set to sign a new agreement with Guangzhou Automobile Group Co to produce the Jeep vehicle for the Chinese market, Il Corriere della Sera said on Sunday.
In an unsourced article, the Corriere said the head of Fiat and Chrysler Sergio Marchionne could announce the agreement at the Detroit auto show, which kicks off on Monday.
Under the agreement, off-road vehicles under the Jeep brand will be produced at GAC’s Canton factory, the paper said.
This report debunks the supposedly neutral fact-checking organization Politifact’s claim that Mitt Romney’s campaign advertisement during the 2012 that alleged Obama sold Chrysler to Italians “who are going to build Jeeps in China” was 2012’s “Lie of the Year.”
Politifact announced that Mitt Romney’s “Jeep” ad was its “2012 Lie of the Year” even though the ad was factually true.
Romney slightly misspoke on the stump about Fiat’s intention to produce Jeeps in China, but reports about Fiat, which owns Chrysler, building Jeeps in China surfaced as early as 2010. And the campaign ad simply stated:
Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy and sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China. Mitt Romney will fight for every American job.
Even liberal publications like Mother Jones and mainstream newspapers like the Washington Post conceded the advertisement was factually true or true on the merits.
This is not the first time Politifact’s “lie of the year” has been completely debunked after the fact.
In 2009, Politifact announced that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s claim about “death panels” in Obamacare was its “Lie of the Year.” After Palin revealed what Rush Limbaugh said was a “hidden truth,” the Obama administration removed the so-called “death panels” from its initial Obamacare bill. And three years later, former Obama adviser Steve Rattner, in a New York Times op-ed, said the country actually needed “death panels” to ration health care.
In 2010, Politifact determined that claims by conservatives that Obamacare would lead to a “government takeover” of healthcare was the “Lie of the Year.” After Obamacare was passed and upheld by the Supreme Court, the IRS issued a 160-page document explaining the Obamacare tax/surcharge and private businesses like Hobby Lobby have been threatened because they refuse to comply with the bill’s birth control mandate. And there are even more provisions in the bill, some of which have still yet to be unearthed, that expand the scope of government involvement in the country’s health care.
Even a Good Samaritan German Shepherd gets in on the action!

A Houston man was robbed at gunpoint as he made his way to his car after leaving a bar on Thursday. But in addition to the man’s wallet and phone, the robber ended up with bullet wounds and bite marks from a German Shepherd, thanks to a pair of quick-thinking good Samaritans.
Police say the armed thug was canvassing a local neighborhood when he thought he had found an easy mark. The victim, Kevin Dorsey, told KHOU that he hadn’t even closed his car door before a man, dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask, put a gun to his chest and demanded his wallet, cell phone and car keys.
Dorsey took off on foot after being robbed, prompting two men in a Mercedes to ask him what had happened.
“As soon as they pass me, they see the guy has a gun to me,” Dorsey told KPRC. “They stopped right there. The guys in the gray Mercedes asked me, ‘Did you just get jacked?’ I said yes.”
The two unidentified vigilantes went after the suspect and reportedly exchanged fire with the criminal. The good guys eventually won the gun fight and wounded the thief.
In a twist of irony, the robber jumped a fence after being shot in an attempt to escape — only to find a German Shepherd waiting for him on the other side. The dog attacked him and prevented him from escaping before police arrived.
“I don’t own a gun. I’m totally at the mercy of my saviors. They obviously sent two angels to help me. These people protected me when I couldn’t protect myself.”
The robbery suspect, later identified by police as Christopher Hutchins, was being treated at Ben Taub Hospital for a gunshot to his abdomen. He is expected to recover.
It’s unclear whether the two men who came to Dorsey’s rescue were concealed carry permit holders, however, reports do not indicate that police took any action against the men.

This is what you call going down with the ship. Time and the NYT are Exhibits A and B in the case to expose everything wrong and self-defeating with today’s mainstream media. Rather than do the job honestly (which would undoubtedly improve the customer base), and wake up to the reality that the Internet has removed the monopolistic distribution bottleneck on the flow of information that kept them alive for so long, both publications chose instead to double down when it came to pushing a left-wing agenda.
It was almost as if they knew the end was coming, and this was their last chance.
But that’s their choice; it’s a free country, right? And while I don’t wish anyone long-term unemployment in Obama’s jobs-barren economy, that doesn’t mean the karma of the situation isn’t worth noting. The problem old media is facing with “rapidly declining advertising revenue” isn’t only due to the fact that they “suck.” It also has to do with the job performance of a failed president they went all-in on to elect and re-elect.
Ronald Reagan proved that it is more than possible to come roaring out of a crippling recession if the correct economic policies are put into place. Barack Obama decided to go the exact other way. Moreover, the media sold whatever credibility it had left to not only give him the power to destroy any chance we had for a real recovery, but in order to win his reelection, the media also manufactured a new and accepted normal when it comes to what an economic recovery actually is.
It’s just a fact that if the economy was doing better, advertising revenue would be doing better, and as a result, fewer people at Time and the NYT would be losing their jobs today.
No matter what, though, no matter how bad things get for them personally or for our country as a whole, nothing will ever give these institutions the unselfish moral courage to admit a mistake was made.

The legislation rolls back a mid-1990s law that imposed a 10-year limit on Secret Service protection for former presidents. This new bill, which will cost American taxpayers millions of dollars, is a re-instatement of a 1965 law which will see presidents protected for life as well as their children up to age 16.The irony of Obama seeking to surround himself with armed men for the rest of his life while simultaneously working to disarm the American people via a gun control agenda that is likely to be enforced via executive decree represents the height of hypocrisy. But it’s not the first time that Obama has lauded the notion of responsible Americans using firearms to protect himself and his family while concurrently eviscerating that very same right for the American people …

A 15-year old boy used his father’s AR-15 to defend himself and his 12-year old sister against two burglars at their home just north of Houston, Texas.Their father is a Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable, and the boy knew what he had to do to keep himself and his sister alive. Around 2:30 PM, two men tried to break in, with one going through the front door and the other in the back. The boy grabbed the AR-15 and shot at them. The two later showed up at a Tomball hospital. The adult was hit three times and was flown to Memorial Hermann hospital, while the juvenile was taken back to the crime scene. “We don’t try to hide things from our children in law enforcement,” Lt. Jeffrey Stauber said. “That young boy was protecting his sister. He was in fear for his life and her life.” More stories are coming out about armed citizens defending their lives and property with legally owned firearms. In the span of a week, Breitbart News has reported how a mother used a .38 revolver against an intruder, a man used his weapon to protect his 2-month old son, and a Colorado man invoked the Make My Day law in Colorado in using lethal force to defend himself against three intruders. Senator Dianne Feinstein and others are trying to push through major gun control laws that would include banning the AR-15, the same gun used by the teenage boy. |
As details continue to emerge regarding gun control plans that President Barack Obama and the Democrats are pushing behind the scenes, Wyoming lawmakers have a message for the federal government: “Don’t tread on us.”
Local radio station KTWO reports that lawmakers in Wyoming have proposed a “Firearms Protection Act” that provides a state-level annulment of any ban against semi-automatics or magazines that hold 20 or 30 rounds or more.
If the measure passes, it would mean that anyone–even federal agents-who try to enforce a ban within the state borders could be charged with a felony.
Is this the wave of the future for “red” states concerned about Obama’s strong anti-gun intentions?
It is too early to tell. But it is worth noting that Montana lawmakers began pushing for the same kind of legislation as soon as conservatives took control of that state’s legislature in 2010.
It’s finds like this that really expose the depths of the media’s corruption and the Orwellian lengths these people will go to in order to ensure nothing is ever allowed to disrupt or in any way inconvenience the left-wing Narrative. If the media will go back in time to talk every other school shooting, why not 2010 to add some additional context with this story?

The NRA’s statement about the meeting confirms that that White House was never interested in having an honest, inclusive debate about how to prevent tragedies like Newtown from happening again, but rather, is focused on its “agenda to attack the Second Amendment.”

We attended today’s White House meeting to discuss how to keep our children safe and were prepared to have a meaningful conversation about school safety, mental health issues, the marketing of violence to our kids and the collapse of federal prosecutions of violent criminals.
We were disappointed with how little this meeting had to do with keeping our children safe and how much it had to do with an agenda to attack the Second Amendment. While claiming that no policy proposals would be “prejudged,” this Task Force spent most of its time on proposed restrictions on lawful firearms owners – honest, taxpaying, hardworking Americans. It is unfortunate that this Administration continues to insist on pushing failed solutions to our nation’s most pressing problems. We will not allow law-abiding gun owners to be blamed for the acts of criminals and madmen. Instead, we will now take our commitment and meaningful contributions to members of congress of both parties who are interested in having an honest conversation about what works – and what does not.
The vice president is to submit the task force’s recommendations to President Obama by Tuesday. Biden revealed on Thursday that “an emerging set of recommendations” includes restricting high-capacity magazines and having universal background checks, which would not only close the “gun show loophole” but would also require background checks for all transactions, including private sales.
After yesterday’s meeting with victims of gun violence, Biden said that “the president is going to act,” even if that means using executive orders.

Good news — it has become known that hidden deep within the massive 2800-page bill called Obamacare there is a Senate Amendment protecting the right to keep and bear arms.
It seems that in their haste to cram socialized medicine down the throats of the American people, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Barack Obama overlooked Senate amendment 3276, Sec. 2716, part c.
According to reports, that amendment says the government cannot collect “any information relating to the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition.”
CNN is calling it “a gift to the nation’s powerful gun lobby.”
And according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), that’s exactly right. He says he added the provision in order to keep the NRA from getting involved in the legislative fight over Obamacare, which was so ubiquitous in 2010.

n 1991, a man named George Hennard drove his truck through the front of a Luby’s Cafateria in Killeen, Texas. It wasn’t an accident. He hadn’t lost control of his vehicle but instead was there to kill. After crashing into the restaurant, Hennard jumped out and started killing as many people as he could. Dr. Suzanna Gratia was there that day eating lunch with her parents. At the time, it was a felony in the state of Texas to carry a firearm inside a purse and Gratia left her gun in the car. Al Gratia, her father, attempted to rush the Hennard but was shot in the chest. She tried to escape through a back window while Hennard stalked his defenseless victims inside the building as they desperately tried to get away with their lives. Her father was killed and her mother was shot in the head while holding her dying husband of 47 years. The following video is of congressional testimony Gratia gave 20 years ago. It is important to point out New York Senator Chuck Schumer was there, listening with an arrogant, bored and disrespectful look on his face. Although many lives have been saved as a result of people having the ability to properly defend themselves with firearms in public places since the Luby’s massacre, Schumer is still pushing for people like Gratia’s parents to become victims of violent crime today by pushing for more gun control and less self defense.
After surviving the massacre, Gratia lobbied for concealed carry and less gun control. In 1995, then Texas Governor George W. Bush signed a bill into a law that allows Texans to obtain a concealed carry permit. After the Sandy Hook massacre, Gratia appeared on CNN.

| Bank of America has reportedly frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms, according to its owner, Joe Sirochman.
In a Facebook post dated December 29, Sirochman wrote the following: “My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms…our Web site orders have jumped 500 percent causing our Web site e-commerce processing larger deposits to Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review. “After countless hours on the phone with Bank of America, I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review — her exact words were — ‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.’”(emphasis added) Sirochman also wrote that he told the bank manager that “they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs” and that “[American Spirit is a] firearms manufacturer with all the proper licensing.” He also noted that he has been doing business with Bank of America for over 10 years, but will now be looking for a new bank. According to Unlawful News, this isn’t the first time Bank of America has targeted a customer involved in the firearms industry. McMillan Group International was reportedly told that its business was no longer welcome after the company started manufacturing firearms – even after 12 years of doing business with the bank. |
