class would ever overthrow the capitalist system. Obama
reacted negatively saying: That’s crazy!”
“There’s going to be a revolution Obama said, we need to
be organized and grow the movement.”
“Class struggle was leading to an inevitable marxist revolution.”
“Obama surprised me by bringing up Frantz Fanon and
Colonialism. He impressed me with his knowledge of
these two topics.”
“It made more sense to me to focus on elections rather
than revolution.”
“By the time debate ended, Obama seemed in apparent
agreement with my more realistic perspective.”
