Actually, I do think Romney could have run a stronger campaign in the way of reaching out to more groups of voters. I think conservatives try to stay away from this for fear of being called racist, which they most definitely will, but they need to learn to do it the right way. He needed to reach Hispanics, blacks, Asians, single women, and the low to middle class much, much more. There was much room for improvement in this arena. But I disagree with those who called him a moderate and wanted a fighter. I disagree with those who wanted him to attack the media or attack on Libya. He’s no moderate. He’s no attack dog. And he was correct to question the President on what he said on terrorism but not to go there. Facts are still coming out on Libya and Romney would not have won on that issue prior to the election. Anyway, time to move on. Rubio would be great in 2016. O&O! 🙂

Levin’s got alot of BS. Talk show hosts like Levin, Ingraham, and others were part of the problem for the republicans. Levin and others like him hammered Romney all the way through the GOP convention, even when Romney was given the nomination! Levin sat there saying what a bogus convention it was…”no balloons, no this, no that, he’s never seen anything so boring, blah, blah, blah.” It was ridiculously insulting for no reason at all other than to hurt the GOP.

And by the way, contrary to what Levin says, NO, NOT ALL the nominees were wonderful men with wonderful families. Gingrich was a cheater and so was Cain. Murdoch and Aiken were extremely selfish idiots who should have stepped down after making those stupid statements that most women would find extremely insensitive and out of line. It was a terrible distraction, and they should have immediately resigned their position and had someone else stand in. The tea party, by the way, is not about SOCIAL issues. It is about FISCAL issues. Levin, Ingraham, and others need to stop mixing the two together.

Romney IS a conservative. In fact, he was THE most fiscal conservative out of the whole bunch. And he should have been supported whole-hardheartedly from the start. Primary process was pointless. Looking for anybody but Romney, while he clearly was the only one with a chance to stand up against the obama-con billion dollar smear machine with the lamestream media cover. Conservative media should have helped Romney instead of hurt. But thanks tp their anti-Romney rants and “constructive criticism” we’re worse off today with a Marxist socialist in the WH.

I am permanently tuned out of Levin, Ingraham due to the fact that I feel that hurt Romney’s chances through their anti-Romney broadcasts.

let’s look at the records those who in recent yrs “RAN” as strong conservs & those who ran on a watered down platform… TeaParty candidates 2010 & Scott Walker WI – versus – Romney & McCain.. the formers were successful because they espoused genuine conservative principles in campaigning and selling policy that would work in helping people develop independence.. they persuaded many from different camps…… the latter went w/ a more moderate approach in hope of appealing to the middle but ended up missing everyone….. “you gotta stand for something or you’ll fall for anything” is such a true saying…….
Levin & Ingrham stated throughout what many of us sensed and did not want to see happen again: a weak hesitant run against O’Con because we knew that type of McCain campaign would lose…. guess what .. WE ALL WERE RIGHT…..
Laura had Coulter on following the election & she said Mitt ran better than Reagan!! how freakin delusional is that!! Reagan .. then Newt in the 90’s new how to run a winnign conserv campaign..

and consider this: getting discouraged and feeling like conservatives are to blame for loss and feeling like the country has tipped against us and feeling like we have to moderate & compromise w/ leftist IS EXACTLY WHAT O’CON & his minions want… they want the demonization of Conservatives and the stereotyp & label of fringe put on us… this is exactly want they covet and putting themselves as the mainstream and popular idealogy….. think that through & you will see the deception and division that is the lLefts goal now….. their principles & policies dont work, have never worked…. just compare Wisconsin to Detroit!! the only way the can beat Americab Conservatism is to divide & conquer just as they do in their governance….

DONT LET YOUR BLIND SPOT FOR MITT allow you to be manipulated by O’Con!! Mitt & McCain are good men but were not prepared to fight fire w/ fire.. not willing to overwelm leftist w. conservatism…. we can’t afford amymore who run like this… We need Rubio’s Walkers & Ryans who are not afraid to step up and educate and take the heat….. this is the true character test of saving our country…. Levin & Laura merely pointed out when Mitt hesitated and was weak… Rush did too.. and bottome line .. we were right! NO ONE LOST IT FOR MITT BUT MITT 😦

ps the TeaParty IS about much more than just fiscal issues.. it is definitely about taxation, spending & debt, but escalated due to healthcare.. and now is clearly about ANY issue concerning governance and ALL issues that impact our freedon & Liberty..

TEA Party was started at the grassroots by tax payers fed up with high taxes and fed up with politicians who did not represent them. It was about fiscal conservatism and cutting taxes. That’s what won for them. Walker, Kasich, McDonnell, etc. Fiscal conservatism. IT WAS NOT, I REPEAT NOT, ABOUT ANY SOCIAL ISSUES. The extreme right loons took it there. Today’s TEA Party is falling apart because some want to use it to embrace the social issues as well as the fiscal issues, but many don’t want to go there.

Romney was the most fiscal conservative and would have been the perfect president for the United States’ flailing economy at this time. Social issues needed to be set aside and not placed front and center in this election. Once elected, Romney could have appointed a Santorum or whomever else to lead those efforts. I believe Romney would have been a great president like Reagan, but now we’ll never get the chance thanks to the purist loons. Coulter was right (except on her love for Christie!)

All those calling Romney names right up to and after the election are a bunch of loons. They need to accept the fact the the country is not far right socially. Conservatives should, by their nature, embrace more Americans into the fold, while still following Constitutional principles. Work WITH people, not AGAINST them. They should have worked WITH Romney, not AGAINST him.

All I heard from talk radio was what Romney SHOULD be doing. This is what Romney HAS TO DO, blah, blah, blah. Why couldn’t they SUPPORT him, and speak out for the good he was doing and then find ways to work WITH him. Again, LOONS! Nevertheless, they’ll be happy since their radio shows will continue on for the next 4 years and they’ll have the current fraud in the WH to complain about….hmmm, maybe that was their MO all along…??? Well they’ve lost me as a listener.

it is absolutely astounding how you cant / wont acknowledge the pt of why Mitt lost! he RAN, i’ll repeat: he RAN.. one more time: HE RAN a weak & moderate campaign!!!!!!! no one is arguing that he wouldnt have been a terrific prez.. he was perfect fit for the cisis we now face & his expertise.. you have TO WIN it though first!.. i’ll repeat: YOU HAVE TO FIRST WIN IT!!!!! it is up to no one but Mitt to make sure that happens…. he left many many issues out there unaddressed & half assed addressed.. did not present them in context of American Conservatism and therefore didnt convince or persudade a very large class of people ranging from Conserv through indees thru Mod Dems…. (please read that over several times & think about!) its absolutely true! it wasn’t their failut & it wasn’t talk radio fault.. it was MITTS Fault! “MITT MISSED” is a great label for this period…….
I heard many conserv people prasing him when he made smart strong moves.. i heard Rush & Laura certainly & even Levin & Savage prasie him.. and yes they did criticize him too as they should have when he did weak things… i personally cringed when he made comments like “not gonna set his hair on fire” after O’Con made numerous radical moves.. when he was labeled as greedy 1%er & he barely mentioned Bain… (no mention at convention??) when he refused to be drafted into the “warOnwomen”.. when he walked away from healthcare.. when he answered autobailout w/ “Im a Car Guy”??!! & when he ran away from Benghazi in a FOREIGN POLICY debate i threw my Mitt coffee mug at the TV!!!!
c’mon 14all’er get serious & get over this coulter romnesia you are suffering from!
consider: THIS TURNING OFF OF AMERICAN CONSERVATISM & TALK RADIO & MOVE TO THE MIDDLE IS EXACTLY repeat EXACTLY.. i’ll repeat EXCACTLY! WHAT OBAMACON WANTS!!!!!!!!!!!! dont be used & played the fool by this class/group DIVIDER!!!!!

and you are wrong about TeaParty.. like i said, yes it certainly is based in fiscal / economic policy BUT i’ll repeat.. BUT it was also reaction & uprising directly inresponse to ObamaScare and now certainly about all issues .. why?? becasue most issues whether social or foreign tie into this governing mess!!!! Economy was central focus of campaign FOR ALL irepeat FOR ALL.. but conservs like me & Rick & Newt also saw need to address & danger of letting HC & women iss’s religios iss’s go unadressed… we saw the need for ALL to be aggressively addressed & flipped back to give OCon NO COVER!!!!! i said this waaaaaay back when….
well Mittens didnt feel the urgency & he’s the one that put HIMSELF in a box 😦

c’mon now.. step up for the need to do it right in 2014 & certainly 2016.. no more moderate Mitt McCains…. RUBIO 2016! AMERICAM CONSERVATISM: freedom, growth, independence, potential, security, liberty for ALL!
