Remember A Veteran: Body of Fort Thomas Veteran Killed in Afghanistan Arrives Home Tonight

U.S. Army veteran Michael Bradford, 26 years old, was killed last week in Afghanistan.

He and his wife were expecting there first child in two weeks.

Bradford’s body will return home tonight. Patriot Guard Riders will take Bradford’s hearse and family to the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

Bradford was among four NATO civilian contractors, two NATO service members and six Afghan civilians – including schoolchildren – killed May 16 when a suicide car bomber rammed a two-vehicle NATO convoy in Kabul. The bombing occurred during morning rush hour in the Afghan capital, according to NATO and Afghan government officials.

Survivors include wife Sasha Cantrell Bradford, their unborn son Michael Robert Bradford II, father Gary Bradford, mother Linda Faulkner Bradford, twin brothers Chris and Kenny Bradford, grandparents Bob and Nancy Faulkner and grandparents Bob and Gwen Bradford.
