| Paper called murdered babies ‘fetuses’ 6 times
The New York Times referred to three murdered children as “fetuses” in an article about the conviction of Kermit Gosnell Monday.
Gosnell, a former Philadelphia abortion doctor, was found guilty of first-degree murder Monday afternoon for severing the necks of three born-alive infants.
The New York Times referred to those infants as “fetuses” six times in the paper’s write-up:
The verdict came after a five-week trial in which the prosecution and the defense battled over whether the fetuses Dr. Gosnell was charged with killing were alive when they were removed from their mothers.

I guess the NYT is redefining the word fetus. When a fetus you intended to kill in the first place is removed from the mother and alive…it’s still a fetus. However, when the fetus is wanted and removed from the mother…it becomes a baby.
