FEDS WON’T SAY IF BOSTON BOMBERS HAD OBAMA PHONES
Lawmakers from both parties have recently expressed concern about fraud and abuse in the Lifeline free cell Obama phone program, as well as the phones’ increasing use by criminals.

Obamaphones (the cellphone aspect of the wlefare program was added in 2008 so it’s accurate to call them Obamaphones) is the most ridiculous part of the welfare program because ANY cellphone is capable of dialing 9-1-1 without any service plan in effect whatsoever. So these phones could be provided for true emergency usage – WITH NO RECURRING MONTHLY COST WHATSOEVER! The entire program could have been implemented using recycled, used cellphones almost for free. Of course, you couldn’t call up your local drug dealer, pizza delivery or girlfriend with one of those phones.
