Whole Foods CEO: ObamaCare Worse Than ‘Socialism,’ It’s ‘Fascism’

Whole Foods CEO John Mackey was doing an interview on NPR’s Morning Edition when the subject of his 2009 Wall Street Journal op ed calling Obamacare Socialism came up. Mackey doubled down now referring to the President’s health care law as “fascism.”

    Thanks for the link. I address many of these aretmgnus on my commentboard, but thought I’d deal with the two worst.For both corporations and unions, if you want to take advantage of a corporate or union structure, you have to play by the rules. Nobody is forced to take a union or corporate job, or to become a corporate stockholder. But then you miss-out on the benefits. And the main point stands firm: They are both socialistic organizational forms which use combined resources to do what individuals cannot do on their own. And in both cases, if you don’t like, you can always get another job or invest elsewhere.Secondly, he is correct in saying that pollution is the destruction of property . But he fails to address how we deal with the destruction of public property, like air and water. He is also correct in saying we have laws about this, and they’re called Environmental Laws .
