Speaking at The David Horowitz Freedom Center’s “Restoration Weekend” in Florida on November 16, Pat Caddell indicted what he called the Republican “consultant-lobbyist-establishment” complex for losing a presidential campaign in 2012 President Barack Obama had no business winning.
“No presidential campaign should be run by consultants,” Caddell said. “They should be run by people who are committed to the candidate and not into making big money.”

A year ago Pat Caddell said the election would be decided by the end of May. Romney clinched the nomination on May 29. The primary went on too long and left Romney without sufficient time to organize a campaign to run against a POTUS whose campaign team had been organizing for 5 years. Caddell is correct that we needed to hear more stories about Romney’s many accomplishments. To be effective those stories should have come from sources other than Romney, who is, in any event, a modest man. They should have come from conservative pundits…They, however, were too busy pointing out Mitt’s alleged shortcomings!
Caddell has been trying to help the Conservatives in this Country for some time. The Republicans keep getting in the way. Only one thing gets their attention…money. Time to cut them off!
