The 400,000 Votes That Tipped the Election
Broad trends and the national political undertow can’t be adequately captured in any single statistic — but if Mitt Romney had managed to push the electorate in a handful of states a few clicks in his direction, he’d be the president-elect, rather than an also-ran. Via Jim Geragthy:
Florida: 73,858
Ohio: 103,481
Virginia: 115,910
Colorado: 113,099
Those four states, with a collective margin of, 406,348 for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.

Mitt was a solid candidate with a solid message. Obama’s sins were exposed in broad daylight for all to see yet they still picked him. The popular vote should have been a landslide for Romney irregardless of the Electoral College. The fact that the popular vote tipped to Obama says a lot about the changing values of the typical American. Batten down the hatches because it’s going to get bumpy!
haha.. now you’re blaming fraud!? wow! anything but the candidate huh 🙂 this particular race should have been won easily by millions!.. O’Con got millions LESS THAN he did only 4 yrs ago! all we had to do is run a comprehensive, effective and engaging campaign & MickeyMouse coulda won! i’m sure there was some fraud.. just like im sure there were an awful lot of takers …. but no excuses add up.. other than the campaign itself.. too much fruit left rotting on the tree 😦 needed a genuine conservative speaking the truth w/ real commonsense sense solutions, blowing the Lib congame outta the water… Newt or Rick wouldve cleaned up….
400,000?? it shoulda & coulda been won by 4 Million!!!!
He lost because of voter fraud. No one could have won under these circumstances.
coulda woulda shoulda…. 😦 had Romney run an appropriate & effective campaign… he wouldve won by millions!
