From → US Presidential race 2012
Serving on a committee in Congress and calling it real world “experience” is about as weak a claim as one can get. Obama chose Biden as his VP for Biden’s foreign policy “experience.” Biden’s the biggest dumb ass in White House history! Keep on holding a candle for Santorum but he’s history. Romney’s got it in the bag and Santorum needs to start helping the team instead of McCain-stabbing his colleague!
wow setting the bar pertty loooow there in romneyland huh? BitemeBiden & MCLame?? Ricks got more experience in one sweater vest than mitt had in the whole olympic village!! face it mitt has a veeeery weak resume when its actually looked at beyond his celebrityapprenticeprezidentail run and is about as genuine as mcchelle at a salad bar 😦 Rick will earn this nomination because peoples guts tell them NOT to cave & be bullied by the establishment Losers ….. Q: why would we nominate the 08 Loser to the Loser in 2012??? still chokin’ on that enigma in mittmccain land huh…… ps ill take someone w/ 4X the experince anyday repeat 4 t i m e s thats # 4 (four)
and if you dont think serving 8 yrs on the armed services comm is a big deal what would would you recommend?? and if you think rick has no legit expertise than WTF do you think Mitt HAS????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
haha you really make gg laugh w/ your dogged defense of mittens! really quite something! i never said he was on committee for 16 – he served 16 in congress and yes i know he was on comm 8 – ricks experience should be held up and applauded – again the negative attacks on ricks record arent helping mitt – when someone point out mitts inconsistencies or spin they’re attacked! rick has yes gone after mitt but on policy gloss overs..(many) and mitt needs to be vetted! not a bad thing (see obamacon) – anyway rick and newt have complimented each other thruout the debates on their foreign expertise and insight – newt even said Rick is an expert on Iran! (might come in handy huh?)dont know about you but im gonna throw in w/ the people that served at this level and know whats happening out there!! not someone holding up his aid to secure the olympic games as his ace card LOL – you cite McCains failed bid ha yes and who is this weak (cant attack obama) LOSER endorsing again???? exactly….. oh yeah and who recently said we cant go after obama personnally(why not he’s only a commie!) and he’s that he’s not gonna light his hair on fire to warn us of danger of second obamacon term……. exactly!
ps mittmccain nation sounds a wee bit jealous of the Santorum resume: Lawyer & 16yrs distinguished & PRINCIPALED career VS 4yrs& 7 yr prez running & olympic gold medal public service!!! lets do the math…… and add in private yrs at bain bubble and translation into Mass economy guidance: FLATLINE ——————————————————————————————-
Foreign policy experience is not the core qualification people care about. We want someone (Romney) who can get the economy moving again. He’s got tremendous wealth management experience in which he’s accumulated wealth for his business clients as well as his family. Foreign policy experience can be leveraged through advisors and team members. Obama has no leg to stand on by criticizing Romney since Obama had no experience himself upon usurping the office.
disagree EE given the current global chaos & threats we need someone at least some!! firsthand experience – i think its very naive to use excuse of kicking it to a “team” (remember mitt has nominated current obama “czar” while in Mass – so much for his wizard-like judgement!) security matters, as it will dictate energy and economic needs & circumstances – Rick has a boatload of expertise on little things like IRAN!! his leadership & experince serving on the Armed Serv’s Comm and 16 yrs – repeat 1 6 Y R S in service give him the resume that Mittens & ObamaCon PRETEND & WISH they had….. ps and i not at all sold on mitt economic mgmt skills either: true he has much experience & success w/ Bain but there were many companies that did not make it based on his guidance & recommendation and then there was a major enterprise that didnt exactly “takeoff” & flourish under his shortlived care – a little start up…. “MASSACHUSETTS!”
Santorum served on that committee for 8 yrs, not 16 yrs. Not sure that really qualifies as “experience” or “legislative policy experience.” Santorum authored two pieces of legislation on foreign policy that were passed – one on Iran and one on Syria. Again, not sure I’d really say this is “experience.” It’s more of the ability to have access to the briefings, reports, and the experts in the areas. Also, McCain’s military and foreign policy experience and expertise, that which could not be denied, did not carry the day for him even though it was a top campaign issue for the American people.
If we give both sides some allowance for campaign rhetoric, we are still left with Barack Obama’s history of arrogant condescension toward the American public. His “more flexibility after the elections” is apace with his elitist’s low regard for small town Americans. It is not a stretch to assume that he meant exactly what he said in the open mike incident. Additionally, Reuters’ anti-Romney bias is showing in its observation that he has “little experience in foreign relations”. It is safe to say that Romney has as much or more such experience than did Barack Obama in 2008.
why would you compare anyone to obama!? (forget setting the bar low, thats no standards at all!) forget obamacon Anonymous he’s a punk and irrelevant to assessing who we need on our side… you mention Romneys experience – what experieince??? he has none! if i’m missing something please someone in mittmccain Nation enlighten guitargod….. (and dont give me his plan from goromney.com its a talking pt wish list of promises invoking Reagan ?? 🙂 LMAO) anyway, on the big issues of the day mittens strikeouts out: healthcare we all know about his blueprint and inspirational themesong to baracko – on “climate change” we know (or maybe we dont) on his appointing of CZAR Holdren back in Mass GOV days!! yikes 😦 on foreign policy again 0+0 still =s ZERO! PS Rick is an expert on Iran (just a minor note though) served on the Armed Serv’s Committee for about DOUBLE the time Mittens was Gov! and on the Economy mitts private sector expertise in the BainBubble (& how bout all those companies that Didn’t make it – he made sure he got his investment back!) didnt translate so well when he was Gov …. moderate at best econ in Mass when objectively assessing whole picture there. so there ya have it – a look beneath the annointed calm surface waters of the pond looks kinda deep and dark huh 😦 and you dont think obamacon machine is gonna grind him up in the mushy middle swamp??? we need a true conserv – Go Ricky!!
i continue to point out exactly what our foes will hammer home – romney has ZERO, i’ll repeat that, Z E R O foreign policy (not counting his visits w/ the foreign athletes at the salt lake olympic vllage 🙂 Is he the annointed one?? YES, he has been running for prez for 7 yrs as establishment candidate and spends millions to attack his fellow repubs 😦 Is he best qualified?? NO, he was a weak moderate Gov for only 4 yrs and has ton of baggage on key areas in which obama will exploit – Santorum will ultimately & rightfully EARN this nomination!
You’re siding with Biden and Hillary? They’ll say anything to put party before principles. Romney’s got more executive experiemce in his hair than Fauxbama has in his whole extended Kenyan family. Romney will know how to choose appropriate advisers and Abassadors to aid the cause. Hillary’s feen Sec of State and still has NO foreign policy credentials!
