The Unseen Message of The Hunger Games

by on March 30, 2012
The liberal media and leftist Hollywood remain clueless about The Hunger Games‘ pro-individualism, anti-socialist/communist/totalitarianism message, but the legions of children reading the books are getting the message.

Rest assured: Hollywood can spin this any way they wish, but the upcoming generations reading the books are getting the true message loud and clear.

Saw the movie. Glad somebody gets it. For those of you unfamiliar with the story, it chronicles a futuristic American society which has fallen under the grip of a brutal totalitarian communist government. The movie shows a devolved world of bartering instead of an economy. No money, no businesses, and no business people. All I could think of was entrepreneurship is needed. Cruel sick manipulative government and government officials have made a hell on Earth for the human race. Districts controlled by a central authority have replaced semi-autonomous states. Decentralization is the cure. Decentralization all the way to the individual. In the movie politics were all that mattered.
