mittens is gonna get a lot of credit alright – when he F’s up this election & puts a commie back in the WH cause he feels it’s his turn to be annointed as the nominee…. screw these moderates ego there’s to much at stake – Mitt needs to drop out at this point w/ Newt and paul… romeny baggage is insurmountable & if he gave a damn about our country he’d “Believe In America” &go away fast!

mitt shouldve fixed it right the first time or shut up about it – i’m sick of hearing hin say he tried… there’s things he’d do different… is it perfect no… alot of whining from him, and what came out the other end had lots of neg’s now didn’t it: unconstitutional mandate… mandate on others to pay for… blueprint for obamacare… not to mention his teamwork w/ Kennedy on his signature dreamact! theres Moderate Compromise & Achievement for ya!! lets put it in the WhiteHouse!! 😦

so each state should mandate HC? mandate others to pay for? probably just adopt romneycare then huh? its such a success right??? i hear mitt touting it all the time (not!) in response to the obamacare connection why isn’t he?? all i hear him do is pass the buck saying “states can come up w/ their own plan” hmmm that’s what you’re saying….. and like mitt avoids the question of a good and constitutional solution!

They already do! Through taxes! Healthcare isn’t free! So, for the uninsured who go to the ER for treatment and routine health care because they don’t have any health care, who then pays for those services? You do! I do! We all do as taxpayers! We are already being “mandated” whether we call it that or not! We are already paying for those who chose not to pay. We are already “mandated” through our taxes. Each of us as a taxpayer has a “mandate” in place already that pays for someone elses health care costs at the ER or elsewhere. So why not have them pay for their own healthcare? If they are not “mandated,” then who should be??? Again, someone has to be because healthcare isn’t free!

The states need to take care of this mess. Not the federal government. It’s a state issue that needs to be dealt with. Massachusetts was the first state that tried to fix the system. Was it perfect? No. Romney admits that. Would there be things he’d do differently? Yes. Romney admits that. Would there be things he’d keep the same? Yes. Romney admits that. I give him credit for trying. But the bottom line is the healthcare system needs to be fixed. At least it was an attempt at a solution for a state that wanted it. And from what I see, there were a lot of positives about it!

sure if your definition of positive is allowing the state to force it’s citizens into contracts against their will! why mandate others to pay?? sounds like ol Mittens would bring a good dose of “redistribution” to the WH 😦

Each state should take care of their own citizens and has a constitutional right, authority, and duty to do so.

if a state forces a citizen to buy goods/services or enter into a contract against their will – they exceed their authority and are acting unconstitutionally period!

how’s those facts checkin’ out for those footin’ the bill?? so I guess what you’re proposing is that each state adopt a similar plan huh?? 🙂 if so successful i’ve been wondering why mitt ain’t touting it for all 50 (after his repeal or waivers of course) – wonder why he hasn’t been touting Mass HC success… hmmm…. 🙂
