Malia Obama is safe and out of harm’s way following an earthquake in Mexico today, where the president’s eldest daughter is on vacation. “In light of today’s earthquake, we can confirm that Malia Obama is safe and was never in danger,” the first lady’s communications director Kristina Schake said in a written statement. A strong 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck beach resort towns and Mexico’s capitol Tuesday afternoon, with no injuries reported.

How can they say she was “never in any danger”??? NO ONE can predict the danger of a natural disaster. She reportedly was near the epicenter! They’re VERY lucky they can NOW say she was OK and they can NOW say she was “never in any danger.”
or just keep it simple & head over & drift around pakistan like her daddy did in his youth…
When you stop and think about it, it’s really ridiculous that the Presidential Daughter is not vacationing in and promoting a US city. Why does she have to go to Mexico? Doesn’t she find the USA just as desireable??
Yes, still wondering why she’s there and taxpayers are paying for 25 Secret Service agents to protect her. How about going to Panama City, FL next time?
I question the parential wisdom of sending a 13-year old girl to a dangerous country like Mexico.
