Industry Source: State Department Will Reject Keystone Pipeline Reroute | Fox News

by on January 18, 2012

This is being held up due to opposition from a few environmentalists? I just can’t see it. Must be a larger idealogical block in place. I don’t see commitment at the top to improve the economy. We’re great at borrowing to pay for unfunded liabilities, but here’s an opportunity to bring a huge asset into play and the leadership won’t find a way to make it work? Don’t blame that on the fringe environmentalists…

‘On Tuesday, Obama’s own jobs council suggested that it agrees with the pipeline concept. While not specifically mentioning Keystone in a report out Tuesday about improving competitiveness, the council said that when it comes to energy projects in general, the government needs to “expeditiously, though cautiously, move forward on projects that can support hundreds of thousands of jobs.” ‘
