Maybe you or someone you love is serving in our military. Your lives have been endangered by Obama’s disastrous rules of engagement, with 70% of the fatalities in Afghanistan occurring during his term. Every day, you wake up to a commander-in-chief so indifferent to your needs that he let four American heroes die, unaided, in a seven-hour terror attack in Benghazi. Making matters unbearably worse, he watched the assault live. But, rest assured, Obama thinks you make “a pretty good photo op,” even if your slaughter is “not optimal.”

Or perhaps you lost the business you started with your blood, sweat, and tears, or that your family had nurtured for generations. Like that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Are you a doctor who worries about losing your medical practice when ObamaCare roars into full effect? You spent your youth studying and taking on massive debt for medical school so you could dedicate your life to helping others. Now, facing 2,700 pages of ObamaCare regulations, you’re one of 360,000 physicians who plan on “leaving their practice or taking an early retirement” if ObamaCare stands. That’s 45% of working doctors! Of course, Obama won’t be sorry to see you go. This is the guy who claims that “… doctors would rather take out tonsils than treat a sore throat because it pays better” and “… doctors would rather cut off legs for $50,000 than take care of a diabetic before it got to this point.”

The casualties, the miseries, the torments add up. One and a half million senior citizens losing their homes to foreclosure…half of college graduates can’t find full-time jobs…net worth of families plunging 40%…the ratio of new food stamp recipients to new net jobs skyrocketing to 75 to 1…violent crime up by 18%…America’s credit rating downgraded for the first time in history.

And at the center of our nightmare lurks the peculiar character now residing in the people’s house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. We can see him only through his media-induced saintly glow — yet we have come to know him all too well. He shimmers before our disbelieving eyes, a self-described piece of “eye candy” with dead fish hands, framed by Greek columns.

The grieving father of slain Benghazi hero Tyrone Woods described meeting Obama at Andrews Air Force Base, when his son’s casket arrived from Libya. “Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder…I could tell that he was not sorry. He had no remorse.”

Several days after the casket ceremony, Obama materialized on The View to modestly proclaim he was there just as “eye candy.” The ladies on The View swooned, but the American people turned away in disgust. Their dream of hope and change had morphed into a nightmare. And now, their passionate new dream was to stampede to the voting booth on November 6 and vote the nightmare over.

Predictably, now that Obama is fated to vaporize like a bad dream, the ugliness behind his persona is swarming to the forefront. His followers threaten us with violence in expensive campaign commercials that degrade anyone who sees them. Their images are explicitly nightmarish:zombies who will eat our flesh, old people who will castrate us for eternity. Bill Maher, who donated one million dollars to Obama’s campaign, just warned us, “If you’re thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are, and they will come after you.”

I find it so fitting that Obama is ending his reign by exhorting his followers to get “revenge.” Right from the start, the smiling messiah was always surrounded by a pulsating aura of violence. “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” he said. And “my administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.” And “we’re going to punish our enemies and reward our friends.”

And so, as the date of Obama’s electoral humiliation nears, the Twitter-verse is exploding with riot threats. Many of these illiterate curses are echoing the debased language of “Special Adviser to the President” Kareem Dale. Ordinary Americans now worry, with good reason, that violence will be unleashed against us as punishment for waking up from our Hopium illusions.

Whatever happens, be strong and of good courage. The man who set out to “” the country, accompanied by a wife who had never been proud of America, can no longer hypnotize us into doing his will.

Our long Obama nightmare is almost over. The restoration of the American dream is about to begin.

While every single poll on the planet predicts Democrats will enjoy a turnout advantage of three to eleven points, the latest Rasmussen survey of party affiliation taken throughout October shows that Republicans enjoy a huge 5.8% Party ID advantage going into the 2012 election.

According to Twitter’s invaluable NumbersMuncher, Rasmussen correctly predicted 2008 would be a D+7 election and incorrectly predicted 2010 would be D+3. (2010 was D+0, or even, so Rasmussen gave an edge to Democrats they didn’t have.)
If the 2012 race is D+2, Romney’s probably going to win. If the race is R+6, Romney’s going to enjoy a landslide.
The most important piece of information in this poll, though, is that Rasmussen’s sample is a monstrous 15,000 likely voter. Moreover, Rasmussen’s Party ID results match similar results found by Gallup and Pew.
Again, if Rasmussen is anywhere near as correct as he’s been in the past, all of these polls showing Obama holding small leads, are dead wrong. They’re under-sampling Republicans in a major way; predicting an electorate that looks like 2008.

Now Gallup is in the game, and the numbers are brutal. In 2008, the Democrats had a 39-29 (D+10) advantage in hard party ID, and a 54-42 (D+12) advantage with leaners. In 2012 though, we’re in the post-TEA party era. Republicans now show a 36-35 (R+1) hard party ID advantage, and a 49-46 (R+3) lead with leaners. This gives us a range of party ID swings from 2008, from R+11 to R+15.

If the electorate is 49-43% as Gallup predicts — or R+3 — Romney wins in a landslide.

More than 50 EPA staff are now crashing to finish greenhouse gas emission standards that would essentially ban all construction of new coal-fired power plants. Never before have so many EPA resources been devoted to a single regulation. The independent and non-partisan Manhattan Institute estimates that the EPA’s greenhouse gas coal regulation will cost the U.S. economy $700 billion.

The rush is a major sign of panic by environmentalists inside the Obama administration. If Obama wins, the EPA would have another four full years to implement their anti-fossil fuel agenda. But if Romney wins, regulators will have a very narrow window to enact a select few costly regulations that would then be very hard for a President Romney to undo.

Environmentalists at the EPA pulled this trick before in 2000 when the Clinton administration rushed out a finding that Mercury emissions from power plants were a growing public health threat pursuant to the Clean Air Act. That finding did not regulate power plants itself, but it did force the Bush administration to begin a lengthy regulatory process. The Obama EPA has estimated that this regulation alone will cost the U.S. economy $10.9 billion a year.

Reached for comment, Romney spokesman Ryan Williams said:

President Obama won’t tell the voters of the Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania the truth about his plans to shut down the coal industry. Even after he loses on Tuesday, it appears that the President will still try to continue his efforts to kill their jobs and drive up their energy prices. Mitt Romney is committed to reversing the damage caused by the Obama Administration’s disastrous liberal agenda as soon as he takes office.

We’ve been reporting for close to a week that Minnesota, the bluest of blue states, which has voted for the Democratic candidate in every election since 1976, is very much in play for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Today, we got statistical confirmation that is the case via an American Future Fund poll. From the polling memo:

1. The Presidential ballot in Minnesota is a dead heat.

Mitt Romney has a one point lead on the ballot (46% Romney/45% Obama.). The demographics of the state clearly make Minnesota a battleground state.

As we are seeing across the country, Romney’s lead in the state is driven by Independent voters (49% Romney/36% Obama). Due to his consistent advantage with Independents, Romney leads or is tied with the President across the battleground states – even those that traditionally lean Democratic.

Milwaukee, Wisc.- Friday morning Governor Mitt Romney held a rally at the county fairgrounds. Despite the frosty temperatures, over 1500 people who could not get in attended the “overflow rally” outside the event.

Attendees also felt strongly that the momentum is on the side of Mitt Romney. Most pointed to the recently failed recall effort of republican Governor Scott Walker’s landslide victory as the biggest reason to be optimistic about Tuesday’s election. Others pointed out, if that wasn’t the case, President Obama would not be coming back to the state on Saturday and Monday, the last day before Election Day.

After the rally was over inside the park pavilion, Governor Walker and Governor Romney both came out to greet the cold but energetic crowd.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Legendary performer Stevie Wonder this morning expressed his love for Cleveland during a get-out-the-vote rally at Cleveland State University.

His love went largely unrequited.

Fewer than 200 people showed up to watch Wonder perform a handful of his hits at the early voting event in support of President Barack Obama.

And not all of the less-than-200 were there because of Barack Obama. As one attendee told the Plain Dealer, “How do you pass up a chance to see Stevie Wonder?”

What a difference a failed administration makes.

The families of three Americans killed in the Sept. 11 U.S. consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya, are offering widely different reactions to recent reports that U.S. personnel issued several requests for help that were turned down.

Patricia Smith, the mother of slain State Department employee Sean Patrick Smith, is now blaming President Barack Obama for her son’s death.

“I believe that Obama murdered my son,” she said Thursday from the living room of her Clairemont home. “I firmly believe this.”

Patricia Smith, who voted for Obama in 2008 at the insistence of her son, said reporting by Fox News is the basis for much of her belief that Obama is ultimately responsible for her son’s death. She said Sean, who went to Mission Bay High School but lived abroad, was a fervent supporter of the president.

Smith’s view echoes that of Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, the 41-year-old former Navy SEAL from Imperial Beach who died fighting in Benghazi.

Charles Woods appeared on Fox News shows over the weekend to denounce decisions made by U.S. officials during the Libya attack.

“I’m a retired attorney, and I know that these actions legally do not constitute murder. But in my mind the people in the White House, all of them who have authority to send in reinforcements to prevent what they knew was going to be the death of my son, are guilty of murdering my son,” Woods said Sunday on Fox’s Sean Hannity show.

The older brother of Glen Doherty, a former Navy SEAL from Encinitas working as a U.S. security contractor, said Doherty and Tyrone Woods were part of the force that responded to the consulate attack.

“They rescued a bunch of people and brought them to the (consulate) annex, and then people defended the annex after Glen and Ty fell. All those people didn’t get overrun and wiped out. They had enough people to fight off that battle,” said Greg Doherty, who lives in Kensington in Northern California.

In that light, Doherty said the debate over needing more help doesn’t make sense to him, unless it might have been U.S. airstrikes against a mortar position used by attackers.

“But then you are getting into real specific strategy, and I don’t think it is civilians’ job to pick apart an actual battle and talk strategy, unless you are a general,” said Doherty, reached by telephone Thursday.

“It just seems like people are looking to direct their anger at Obama somehow.”

The debate about how the administration handled security for the Libya consulate is heating up in the week before the presidential election.

Despite that, Charles Woods, reached by U-T San Diego Thursday afternoon, said, “I don’t want this to become political and become dishonoring to Ty.”

He declined to answer any further questions.

The extended Navy SEAL community around San Diego is talking about the details of the Libya attacks.

Despite a carefully narrated version of events rolled out late this week by the CIA claiming agents jumped into action as soon as they were notified of calls for help in Benghazi, security officials on the ground say calls for help went out considerably earlier — and signs of an attack were mounting even before that.

The accounts, from foreign and American security officials in and around Benghazi at the time of the attack, indicate there was in fact a significant lag between when the threat started to show itself and help started to arrive.

According to the CIA, the first calls for assistance came at 9:40 p.m. local time from a senior State Department official at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, to the CIA annex about a mile away.

But according to multiple people on the ground that night, the Blue Mountain Security manager, who was in charge of the local force hired to guard the consulate perimeter, made calls on both two-way radios and cell phones to colleagues in Benghazi warning of problems at least an hour earlier. Those calls allegedly went to local security contractors who say that the CIA annex was also notified much earlier than 9:40 p.m. U.S. military intelligence also told Fox News that armed militia was gathering up to three hours before the attack began.

One source said the Blue Mountain Security chief seemed “distraught” and said “the situation here is very serious, we have a problem.” He also said that even without these phone and radio calls, it was clear to everyone in the security community on the ground in Benghazi much earlier than 9:40 p.m. that fighters were gathering in preparation for an attack.

Many of these security contractors and intelligence sources on the ground in Benghazi met twice a week for informal meetings at the consulate with Blue Mountain and consulate staff, and at times other international officials. They were all very familiar with security at the consulate — and said the staff seemed “complacent” and “didn’t seem to follow the normal American way of securing a facility.”

Both American and British sources say multiple roadblocks set up by fighters believed to be with Ansar al-Sharia were in place in Benghazi several hours before the 9:40 p.m. timeline and that communications also alluded to “heavily armed troops showing up with artillery.” Fox News was told by both American and British contacts who were in Benghazi that night that the CIA timeline rolled out this past week is only “loosely based on the truth” and “doesn’t quite add up.”

Fox News was also told that the local guard force meant to protect the consulate perimeter “panicked” and didn’t know what to do as the attackers took up positions. Sources say other guards simply “walked away”.

One former Special Op now employed by a private company in Benghazi said that even the safe room wasn’t properly set up. He said “the safe room is one of the first measures you take” and that he is “not sure how you can set a safe room without fire suppression and ventilation in case of fire.” He also said, “Ambassador Stevens would likely be alive today if this simple and normal procedure was put into place.”

As details emerge of serious security issues before the attack on Sept. 11, Fox News is also beginning to hear more frustration from sources both on the ground in Benghazi and in the U.S. Multiple British and American sources insist there were other capabilities in the region and are mystified why none were used. Fox News was told there were not only armed drones that monitor Libyan chemical weapon sites in the area, but also F-18’s, AC-130 aircraft and even helicopters that could have been dispatched in a timely fashion.

British intelligence sources said that unarmed drones routinely flew over Benghazi every night in flight patterns and that armed drones which fly over chemical sites, some a short flight from Benghazi, “were always said to be on call.” American sources confirmed this and questioned “why was a drone armed only with a camera dispatched?”

Another source added, “Why would they put a ragtag team together in Tripoli as first responders? This is not even what they do for a living. We had a first responder air base in Italy almost the same distance away.” Despite the team arriving from Tripoli that night, sources said sufficient American back-up never came.

British sources on the ground in Benghazi said they are extremely frustrated by the attack and are still wondering why they weren’t called for help. “We have more people on the ground here than the Americans and I just don’t know why we didn’t get the call?” one said.

Both American and British sources said, at the very least, the security situation on the ground and the lack of proper response were the result of “complete incompetence.” The covert team that came in from Tripoli was held up at the Benghazi airport for more than three hours by Libyan officials. Sources said the team notified officials in Washington that they were being delayed within 30 minutes of their arrival.

They also point out that these questions “don’t even address the military capabilities of our United Nations ally Turkey, who (has) forces available a similarly short flight away.” Fox News has learned that Turkey had a number of embassy staff in town the night of the attack and that the Turkish consul general met with Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi the night he and the three other Americans were killed.

One source asked, “Were the Turks not warned? What forces were available from our ally Turkey? Especially since they had officials there in Benghazi also and had to be concerned … and where was the U.N. in all of this?”

“Obviously he wasn’t born in this country or, if he was, he said he wasn’t in order to receive financial aid and in order to have a clear and very easy path into a college or university,” Trump said in a press release posted to his Facebook page Thursday.

Trump released an accompanying video on YouTube along with the release, blasting the president for not releasing the records.

Trump’s initial offer was extended on October 24, and said that in exchange for the president releasing his college and passport records, that the television and real estate mogul would donate “at least $5 million” to a charity of the president’s choice. The offer would have to have been accepted by the end of the day on October 31.

“The president is spending millions of dollars to continue to keep these records hidden,” Trump said in the release.

“One day, the records will become public,” Trump said on the video. “And when they do, people will say, ‘Donald Trump was right.'”

The release reads as follows:

Today, President Obama failed to take advantage of Donald Trump’s five million dollar offer to a charity of the President’s choice by not being transparent and revealing his basic college and passport applications and records. In addition, the President is spending millions of dollars to continue to keep these records hidden. Mr. Trump stated, during the time of the offer, that he would have been willing to substantially increase the amount to a much higher number of dollars if the acceptable records were presented. If the President would have accepted Mr. Trump’s offer, these funds could have provided substantial aid to a variety of great causes including the victims of Hurricane Sandy (separately and unrelated, Mr. Trump is already in the process of supporting the hurricane victims).

Millions of people want to see the President’s college and passport records and applications because, if the records are different from what the President has said, under the Constitution, he would not be allowed to be President. For President Obama not to accept five million dollars (or much more) for his favorite charity can only mean one thing — the records are very bad. Obviously he wasn’t born in this country or, if he was, he said he wasn’t in order to receive financial aid and in order to have a clear and very easy path into a college or university. Only a very stupid person would believe otherwise. There can be no other reason that so much money would not be so easily and routinely collected for charity.

The fact is, this may go down as the greatest con in the history of American politics or, perhaps, the greatest con of all time. Vast numbers of Americans want to know the truth. When these records actually do surface in the future, people will say, “Donald Trump was 100% correct.” The press should no longer protect this President but should demand immediate transparency!

Apparently Sandra Fluke’s momentary celebrity has dwindled from a moment to a nanosecond. You would think that her appeal would be most strongly reflected on college campuses, but even college students are disinterested in her.

Speaking on the University of Florida campus yesterday to encourage students to vote early for Barack Obama, Fluke – who became famous for whining that Georgetown University, a Catholic university, should pay for her birth control – drew just 40 people. That’s out of 35,000 students enrolled.

Fluke, who complained because Rush Limbaugh called her a s*ut, calls her Youth Early Vote Campus Outreach tour, “It’s On You” and stood by the potato statue to speak.

Other vegetables declined the invitation.

In the last several weeks, Mitt Romney’s foreign policy poll numbers have skyrocketed.

If Mr. Romney sustains his present momentum and surges to a presidential victory next Tuesday, campaign historians and election chroniclers will laser in on the moment when he passed the all-important “commander-in-chief” threshold and solidified his foreign policy bona fides.

From September to October, Pew found that Romney scored a 15-point gain on foreign policy issues. Romney’s foreign policy surge has been so dramatic that on Wednesday the New York Times sought to slow his momentum by blurring President Barack Obama’s and Mr. Romney’s positions in an article titled “Two Candidates, One Foreign Policy.”

What caused such a drastic shift, especially against a sitting president who presided over the killing of Osama bin Laden?

At least two events dramatically altered Mr. Romney’s foreign policy trajectory.

On September 10th, Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen set off a firestorm of controversy with the publication of an article titled, “Why is Obama Skipping More Than Half of His Daily Intelligence Meetings?” The article cited a simple three-page study conducted by the Government Accountability Institute that found that Mr. Obama had attended just 43.8% of his daily intelligence briefings (officially known as the Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB). The same day, when MSNBC’s Chuck Todd asked White House Press Secretary Jay Carney about the report, Mr. Carney blasted the Government Accountability Institute’s finding, calling it “hilarious.” Mr. Carney added: “This president is very much steeped in the details of national security issues.” Furthermore, he explained, the president gets the briefing in writing, often on his iPad.

The very next day, with legitimate questions about Mr. Obama’s spotty PDB attendance record swirling in the mainstream media, on September 11th, the U.S. embassy in Cairo was attacked and the Al Qaeda flag was raised on American soil. Later in the day, the U.S. consulate building in Benghazi came under terrorist attack, and U.S. Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were murdered. Stevens’ corpse was dragged through the streets amid cheering crowds.

On September 12th Breitbart News ran an exclusive report revealing that the White House calendar showed that Mr. Obama had not attended his daily intelligence briefings the entire week leading up to the Benghazi attack.

Now, with documents revealing that the consulate in Benghazi had warned the White House they had “no police support,” adding to a growing list of known security concerns, the New York Times is reporting that just 38% of voters approve of “the administration’s handling of the attacks on the consulate in Libya.”

Whether Mr. Romney can carry his present foreign policy momentum through the weekend and into Election Day remains to be seen. If he does, having closed a 15-point gap on foreign policy issues in such a short span of time will prove to have been a critical component in paving the path to victory.

As is often the case when he goes off-teleprompter, at a campaign stop in Ohio today, Obama revealed a side of himself we haven’t seen since Hurricane Sandy gave him the opportunity to play The American President for a few days. The old Divider-In-Chief returned with a vengeance when in the middle of an attack on Mitt Romney he told a crowd at a campaign rally to stop booing and, ” Vote! Voting’s the best revenge!”

What he obviously meant was that voting is the best revenge against Mitt Romney.

What kind of divisive, ugly rhetoric is this coming from a sitting president? It’s easy to sympathize with the fact that Obama’s record gives few reasons for anyone to vote for him; and that for that reason, he’s been forced to attempt to destroy his opponent with a half-billion dollars in negative ads — but now the President of the United States is publicly telling a crowd of Americans to vote for revenge. And not just revenge, but revenge against another American.

But what else are we to expect from apresident who spent weeks on binders, Big Bird, birth control, and bull shit — the president whose surrogates have used the word “felon” to describe Romney and accused him of murder?

This behavior isn’t just unpresdiential, it’s un-American.

“Mitt Romney’s fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his ‘severely conservative’ agenda is laughable,” Mr. Reid said in a statement on Friday, trying to puncture Mr. Romney’s closing election argument that he’ll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship President Obama promised in 2008 but has struggled to live up to.

Conway, Ark.: Dana: Is it really seemly for a civilian President with no active duty military record to a don military unifrom? It seems questionable morally, and also suspect politically, as it naturally reminds people that he may not have completed his National Guard commitments honorably.
Dana Milbank: It is interesting that the White House had no concern that the carrier landing would revive the questions about Bush’s service in the National Guard…
As for wearing military garb, the experts I checked with said it is unlikely any president had done that since Teddy Roosevelt, and that was before such images would be broadcast into millions of homes. Even true military figures, such as Eisenhower, avoided wearing uniform as president.
It is fair to ask whether the presentation of the civilian commander-in-chief in military clothing is wise. My belief, though, is the public will generally not question it.

I wonder if Milbank will ask this question of Obama?

How desperate is hurricane-ravaged New Jersey? Not desperate enough to suspend a union monopoly that keeps the state in the bottom ten states for economic competitiveness (and #48 for business friendliness). Relief crews from Alabama who were specifically called to New Jersey found themselves diverted to Long Island, NY after they arrived because they use non-union labor. Alabama is a right-to-work state.

WAFF-TV of Hunstville, AL reports:

Crews from Huntsville, as well as Decatur Utilities and Joe Wheeler out of Trinity headed up there this week, but Derrick Moore, one of the Decatur workers, said they were told by crews in New Jersey that they can’t do any work there since they’re not union employees….

Understandably, Moore said they’re frustrated being told “thanks, but no thanks.”

With so much at stake–and lives still in danger–it would seem logical to tell special interests to step aside.

On Wednesday, while visiting cleanup efforts in New Jersey in the company of Gov. Chris Christie, President Barack Obama vowed: “We are not going to tolerate red tape, we are not going to tolerate bureaucracy.”

Unless, of course, that red tape is enforced by Obama’s union cronies. Then stranded residents have to wait.

Joan Stevens was one of several early voters at the polls on Monday. But when Stevens tried to cast her ballot for president, she noticed a problem.

Upon selecting “Mitt Romney” on the electronic touch screen, Barack Obama’s name lit up.
It took Stevens three tries before her selection was accurately recorded.

“You want to vote for who you want to vote for, and when you can’t it’s irritating,” Stevens said.

Stevens said she alerted Jackie Smith, a board of elections member who was present. Smith declined to comment, but Stevens says she mentioned that the machine had been having problems all day.

Stevens also reported the issue to Sophia Rogers, the director of the board of elections for Marion County.

Rogers said the machine worked fine when she and others tried voting on it. No one else had reported problems with the voting machines malfunctioning.

Rogers suggested the issue may have been caused by not hitting the button directly or tapping with more than one finger. Stevens was aware the machine had to be operated a certain way.

“I know how to do the voting,” Stevens said.

Despite no problems with that particular machine, Rogers decided to take all precautions. She contacted the vendor and had them inspect the device.

“Because of her issue, we had that machine recalibrated,” Rogers said. “I am certain the equipment works properly.”

Rogers said that those still skeptic about using the electronic stations have the option of filling out a paper ballot, even voting from home and mailing via absentee ballot.

Voting in-person is open daily to all voters at 222 West Center Street through Election Day on November 6. All qualified Ohio voters can also submit an absentee ballot by filling out a form found at the Marion elections website at marionelections.com

Yesterday, four top West Virginia Democrats ripped the Obama administration’s Environmental Protection Agency for taking action that will result in 150 lost mining jobs in the coal industry. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, Sen. Joe Manchin, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, and Rep. Nick Rahall expressed “outrage” at the EPA’s delay of a surface mining permit for Consol Energy. If the permit had been approved, the state would have seen thousands of new jobs created. This is all part of the Obama administration’s war on coal, declared during the 2008 campaign.

“I am incensed and infuriated that the EPA would intentionally delay the needed permit for a public-private project that would bring so many good jobs and valuable infrastructure to communities that so desperately need them,” stated Machin. “The EPA has lost court case after court case for its overreach, and it should be using better judgment by now.”

Consol will now be forced to fire some 145 people beginning December 30. “Instead of stalling and creating unnecessary impediments, we should be working together to put people to work, develop our infrastructure, and provide the low-priced energy that our country needs. This project would accomplish all three of these crucial goals,” raged Tomblin.

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.

Ward said Facebook pulled the re-posted meme down within 7 or 8 hours and suspended the SOS account for 24 hours.

In other words, Facebook put the Navy SEALS in timeout in order to shield Obama.

How low can you go?

On Tuesday night’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said that major news networks might have secret emails proving that the White House canceled plans to assist the besieged U.S. Embassy in Benghazi.

Gingrich said that the bombshell emails could be revealed within the next two days.

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

After noting that the rumor, if true, would have a substantial impact on the presidential election, Gingrich pointed to another possible “October surprise” in the coming days.

“The other big story, I think, that is going to break is on corruption and extraordinary waste in the solar power grants and direct involvement by the Obama White House, including the president, in the solar panel grants involving billions of dollars, and I suspect that’s going to break Wednesday and Thursday of this week,” Gingrich added.

President Obama has been a busy bee the last two days, spending a huge swath of time with the press and in front of the cameras. Aside from using the White House website as his personal PR firm – putting out pictures of himself with the folks at FEMA and the Red Cross and in the White House situation room, and giving updates stating that he had “expressed his concern” and been informed “throughout the night” – Obama desperately wanted to visit New York City to let the photographers capture him overseeing the damage. He wanted his hero moment.

And Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City doesn’t have time for that nonsense…

Spc. Brett Hyde, Tomb Sentinel, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), is one of several sentinels keeping guard over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during inclement weather caused by Hurricane Sandy at Arlington National Cemetery.

The Tomb of the Unknowns is guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and in any weather by Tomb Guard sentinels. Sentinels, all volunteers, are considered to be the best of the elite and headquartered at Fort Myer, Va.

While on duty the Tomb Sentinel crosses a 63-foot-rubber surfaced walkway in exactly 21 steps. He then faces the Tomb for 21 seconds, turns again, and pauses an additional 21 seconds before retracing his steps.

The 21 is symbolic of the highest salute according to dignitaries in military and state ceremonies.

Members of The Old Guard have guarded the Tomb every second, of every day regardless of weather or holidays since April 6, 1948.

No block to foreign money – not even from dead terrorists

Pakistani Internet Protocol, or IP address, a disposable credit card and a fake address, “Osama bin Laden” has successfully donated twice to Barack Obama’s presidential re-election campaign.

The “Bin Laden” donations, actually made by WND staff, included a listed occupation of “deceased terror chief” and a stated employer of “al-Qaida.”

“Bin Laden” is currently set up on the official campaign website to contribute more to Obama’s campaign. The name is also registered as a volunteer.

Since the “foreign” contribution was sent, “Bin Laden’s” email address has received several solicitations from Obama’s campaign asking for more donations.

The apparently foreign-based contributions were conducted as a test after a flurry of media reports described the ability of foreigners to donate to the Obama campaign but not to Mitt Romney’s site, which has placed safeguards against such efforts.

The acceptance of foreign contributions is strictly illegal under U.S. campaign finance law.

One $15 donation was made at BarackObama.com using a confirmed Pakistani IP address. In other words, as far as the campaign website was concerned, the donation was openly identified electronically as coming from Pakistan.

Upon clicking the “donate” button, WND staff selected the $15 amount and were taken to a page on the campaign website asking for a first and last name, city, state, zip code, email address and phone number.

The information submitted was: “Osama bin Laden, 911 Jihad Way, Abbottabad, CA 91101.”

While the website only has options for U.S. states and zip codes, there is no mechanism in place on Obama’s website to verify the individual is actually located in that state or zip code, or even in the U.S.

The Obama campaign refuses to release the identification of donors who give less than $200

In the case of this donation, the 91101 zip code is real but corresponds to Pasadena, Calif., and not Abbottabad, the Pakistani city in which bin Laden was found holed up in a compound.

For a requested phone number, WND inputted the White House information line of (202) 456-2121 .

The email address used to set up the donation account was osama4obama2012@gmail.com.

After clicking “next,” the website asked for an employer, occupation and a password to set up future donations. WND staff entered the occupation as “deceased terror chief” and the employer as “al-Qaida.”

The transaction was made last Friday with the use of a disposable credit card. The website did not require the card’s security code.
