TIME HONORS SANDRA FLUKE AS ‘PERSON OF THE YEAR’ FINALIST

by on November 27, 2012

Just when you think Time magazine can’t make any more of a mockery of itself, they nominate Sandra Fluke, contraception advocate extraordinaire, as a candidate in their Person of the Year 2012 poll.

Fluke, of course, is the condom rights advocate turned Georgetown Law School martyr who testified before Congress about the hardships encountered by young female law school students who couldn’t afford to pay for their own birth control pills. Rush Limbaugh ripped her, prompting faux outcry from the left, all the way up to President Obama, who seized on the incident as proof that the right was waging some sort of war on women, as opposed to a battle against pathetic dependency on government. Obama called her personally, then used her as a campaign surrogate.

Leave it to Time to make her its Person of the Year. Of course, in the year of the dependent American voter, they might be right.

She’s a nobody! Compare her with Nikki Haley and Flucky fades into the shadows.

Of course this would happen. This is a reward from the Democrat elite for her playing the role she was picked to play.

Fluke’s education is entirely in activism. She basically has degrees in “community organizing” (communist agitation) and women’s victimhood. She’s also marrying into the leftist royalty that is the Mutterperl family.

Fluke PICKED her school so as to agitate there.
She was hand picked by Democrat elite for the side show testimony. It raised her profile, making her an instant activist celebrity. And it gave the Obama administration a face to kick start to the fake war on women.

This whole charade was planned (probably years) in advance. Whether Time picks her or not for the prize, it nominated her as the continued effort in cementing her as an icon with absolute moral authority on the topic of “women’s rights”, who can then never be questioned.

The GOP shouldn’t be shocked. They should be angry. And they should figure out how to confront what isn’t going away.
