Even as Romney has subsequently given a major foreign policy address and otherwise elevated his campaign, obama has mentioned Big Bird eight times and Elmo five times since the debate, and has made no mention of Libya or an economic plan, and last night obama compared the plight of Elmo to O.J. Simpson, suggesting the beloved muppet was in a “white suburban” and “heading for the border.” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
