“The government is the only thing we all belong to”.
The original German for this was, “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuhrer”.
A normal American might have said, “The nation is the only thing we all belong to” but only a full blown fascist would have said, “The government is the only thing we all belong to”.
The dems just unmasked their socialism (yes they have done it before, but it was never this blatant) for all to see.
I hope that Romney can use this as campaign fodder somehow. Play it over and over again and contrast with what Eastwood said when he said “we own this country”. However, I fear that 90% of the USA population will not pick up on this. The Obama acolytes will vote for this without even realizing the context of the message. Scary. Very scary.
