Conservatives to Mitt: Quit Now If You Won’t Fight Obamatax!

by on July 2, 2012

The Obama campaign has seized on remarks made by Romney adviser Eric “Etch-A-Sketch” Fehrnstrom this morning on MSNBC, to the effect that the individual mandate in Obamacare (and Romneycare) is not a tax. Fehrnstrom allowed Chuck Todd to push him off message–and re-ignited the fears that conservatives have long had about Romney’s will and ability to fight. In response, conservatives–who had just coalesced around opposition to what many now call “Obamatax”: Mitt, start fighting, or give up and let someone else do it!

This is all BS. Romney’s doing great and 0bama’s on his own sinking ship.

The big difference is the 10th Amendment. States can pass and enact laws for the citizens of its state which is not a power of the federal government. The citizens of Massachusetts and Governor Romney passed health care for the people of their state because it was what the citizens of Massachusetts wanted and what they voted for. Just because it was done in Massachusetts, doesn’t mean it should be done for every state in the nation by the federal government, and it shouldn’t be! Also, Governor Romney didn’t cram health care legislation down the throats of the citizens of Massachusetts like the Congress has crammed health care legislation down the throats of the American people. BIG DIFFERENCES!

The lamestream media pushing people off their message is really just a distraction from what 0bama is doing to this country. And here we go again with the supposed “anti-Romney-ites, which is a pure fallacy invented by the liberals who have feared Romney as the republican candidate from the start.
